wow...
couldn't get out all day in this nice weather...until about an hour ago.
walked down to the old farmhouse along the soybean fields to this little patch of woods...thick with vines and briars. as I was trying to make my way into a small clearing I got a quick high tone. it was bouncing all over 5-32, 12-38, 30-50, 30-40...but it was at 10" so I dug. out came the first piece of trash, then the second, then the third...I stood up and re checked the hole...short high tone 11-37 to 12-38..now I'm excited so I continue digging and get one more piece of trash then the propointer spots it! so I stood up and did my happy dance! 1864 IH cent
I also found a deer skull with antlers still intact

Congratulations!!!:super: I just got my first one last weekend. I have been looking for one for over two years. Acutally I got two within about twenty minutes. I hope the next ones are not that far away.
