Finally - My first hunt ever! 91 cents and some junk lol

I finally made it out for my first time! Decided to hit the beach here in Chicago since digging sand is easier than yard. I started out in all metal mode with my 250 and have to say - I was digging up ALOT of junk. I put it in the bag though since I didn't want to leave it on the beach. I played around with sensativity, and realized you can find coins nicely in coins mode and high sensativity. Then when it beeped, I would lower the sensativity to two or three and go over the spot again to see if it still beeped. If so, I dug it up. Most the time it was a coin. A couple times it was half of a can when the 250 said it was a nickle. Oh well... I'm sure I will learn more as I go. It was nice to be outside!

posts were setting the tector off ....
