Finally have something to Show!!

first of all......CONGRATS:clapping::crazy::detecting: second......if you want to upgrade that's fine but to find gold you will still have to dig everything above iron tones!!!!! yes even with the high dollar detectors, "start discriminating and start missing" third......i would imagine e-bay would be the way to get the most money for your ring especially right now with Christmas coming up. dealers and pawnshops will give you about 1/4 or less.

Wow that's a beauty, one of the best rings I've seen found in a while.

Congrats

BTW you might consider selling it on craigslist, no fees, and you can probably make out better then fleabay.

Yes, be sure you read E-bay's new rules and regs before listing your ring there. E-bay used to be a sellers market, but has completely flipped to a extreme buyers market. Use Google to hunt for HORROR stories. Just my opinion you understand. If you sell it on Craig's be sure to take a large male friend with you, when you deliver your product, CASH green money only. HEY, they're just a-waitin' for you out there...........!:yikes::yikes::yikes:

Hey Gugull, can we we have more info on your find? The four nickels in one hole sounds too fishy for a random find. Sounds more like some kid was playing and buried them in that hole. Same for the ring. A big, very valuable jobbie like that would be hard to just loose. More like some kid buried it. Was it found in some place that a kid would be likely to be "hiding and playing" or out in the open? I'd really be interested in knowing. I'm developing a theory that very little really valuable stuff that's found in Tot-lots and play grounds is really lost, but is stolen of the dresser by little boys to take to the "park" to play with and never taken back home. ALL who comment on this would be appreciated. Thanks, Ron.

We were a local park located right on the Bay, this park is busy year round. All of the Walks for Charity either star or end here; ie: Walks for Diabetes, Heart Disease, MS, Breast Cancer etc and the Annual marathon. And summer concerts are held here, people sitting or laying on the grass is not uncommon. Kids rolling down the hills in the park not uncommon. So, always lots of adults in the area where we found the ring. The nickels probably were buried by a kid, who knows when we pulled them out with the dirt they almost looked like they had been stacked. The nickel spot was about 100 yards or so from the ring spot.

Can you imagine losing this??

Great find..
