Digger, that large token with the horse , does it say boy scout shoes on it and good luck on the back, if it does i found one about 8 years ago and won first place in the Token category at my metal detecting club it's cool to see another one, i got mine from an old fairground in SE, Michigan. From what I've been able to learn online, these tokens were given to folks who purchased a pair of Excelsior shoes. IF they were Boy Scout shoes, the token said "Boy Scouts" above the horse and rider. World Scout shoes got one that said World Scout. However, if they were for "Non-scout" shoes, the token said Medal, which mine has. http://www.sageventure.com/coins/scout.html HH Randy
