Met up with Clad King locally and bought his Vista X with the extra Super 6 coil….Haven’t used it yet but it looks clean ! We’re gonna hook up and do some dirt fishing together….BTW, he included the manual !! which I’ve wanted for so long !!….I think we’re both happy with the deal….I’ll keep you guys posted as to how I’m getting along with this detector…

I think the Vista X is going to surprise you just how good of a beep and dig the X is, one suggestion I have is do not over drive the gain on the X, as in do not run it at max gain, the Vista X does not require that you run full gain, to locate targets that other detectors have missed.

yep I replaced those stock knobs, because I could not even read the labeling of each pot, because of how large the base's were on those stock knobs, for me it was a necessity than anything elseI see what you guys are talking about with the knobs…Whoever came up with these knobs must not use the Vista X..
