Finally got a Deleon

MichiganJason said:
It locked on with coins on the surface or just slightly under. I can't count how many 4 way solid 95's were pulltabs. Like I said, I love Tesoro but that Cortes wasn't worth a darn.

My Cortes is great at ID. My problem is that the screen is so small I can not see it. I would love to trade for a good Deleon just because of the small screen.

Actually, the Deleon has the same size display screen as the Cortes, it is just simpler and less cluttered.

The only things the Cortes has is more bells and whistles, SUM mode, Notch Disc. All Metal ground balance and a back lighted.... crowded display screen.

My wife bought the Deleon last year to replace her 'ol Toltec ll (which is a great detector ) but the Toltec was too heavy for her.

It is just a simplified version of the Cortes with the same basic features at a lower price, With the Troy Super Seven coil mounted, it is light as a feather, The Wife loves it:biggrin: and so do I.
