with the F75 yet,Just wondering what settings seem to work best,I know a small coil would probabaly would help and I know thats coming, but what settings do you recommend .They say its got a quick recovery from target to target and That should help,Whats your take on it.Thanks in advance,
Rick in KY

so please let us know about your F75 field test. I have an SE...and a CZ70pro...I guess I can find room for the F75 if I need to!

Only had it a short time, & trying to test every setting to be sure there are no glitches anyplace....
First Texas also wants to know how it does in iron. I think it will do great due to things like..
super FAST, recovery speed
The great DD- coil
Tone ID
(there may also be a "process" setting that helps as well).

The F75 seems to have several options to experiment with to go about attacking iron. I have tried 2 so far. Running all metal and watching the screen (what I call "scoreboard watching") for numbers over 15. OR, with a one tone setting in disc mode, where you allow some iron to be heard, you can pick "good" items out by relying on the audio. T2 users have had alot of success that way.....
I've said many times you can't let the look/size of the coil intimidate you. Too many folks have written it off before trying methods that I just mentioned. But, a DD coil can really slice inbetween iron like I've never been able to experience with the older Fisher coils....

Bill

It seems to me that owners that have the T2 don't really need the F75. That is not a slam on the Fisher in anyway.

It is a good thing that Fisher is and has made a change to their machines and it seems from what Bill has written so far the T2, F75 are both really fast and great in iron. The F75 has a few more features and tighter numbers, the T2 is a bit more raw.

I would have to see something really improved to spend that kind of money and have the T2 and F75. I know there are a lot of tests to be done so I won't pass judgement and am happy to see the F75 is going to make a big splash and the guys that passed up on the T2 or were not happy with it will most likeley get the F75.
