It is just the same as a knife with a slightly concave blade and is against the law to have on public school property period! Even a small pocket knife or one of the multi-tools so many carry is strictly against the law to possess on public school property even at school events or anytime you go on the property.This law has nothing to do with detecting and can land you in prison or in court at the very least.What words are stamped on your digger do not mean anything in a court of law.Trust me it is not worth taking a chance on.Do I think it is a stupid law,YES.But facts are facts and the wise detectorist will not take a chance on bringing a lot of trouble to themselves and or possibly others,Ray.
