I wished they would have pushed the whole site. I got three buttons out of the footer dirt and that was just a narrow trench.

Hey Calabash-
Congrats on the finds! I have only been using the XP Deus since Nov 2019 (2 short years) but during this time I have found more civil war relics( bullets, buttons and period coins) then in my previous 5 plus years using my “then” now sold Nox 800/and AT Garbage Max.lol

I found 3 Reb buttons last year in an iron patch that my Nox 800 and other detectors had been over hundreds of times-and I dug a beautiful Confederate Mississippi Artillery Coat button end of October.

My question-how were all these signals missed here in Virginia where I live and hunt? I really believe the Deus is the top dog and the real deal. I have been using just the Deus Fast 14 KHZ program with the high frequency coil; I never really even considered looking at other Deus programs until I saw your 2018 YouTube video today using your modified/customized Pitch program using 28 KHZ and how you have unmasked dozens of non-ferrous targets using 28 KHZ that others’ have missed. I don’t understand the physics behind this but trust others like yourself who have seen the difference that the 28 kHZ can make in rich relic sites.

I intend on using your customized Pitch program this Saturday and the following weekend and will report my results. Thank you for putting up your test garden videos of comparing different detectors head to head. Thanks to yours and Smokey’s input on the forum-because of yours and others head to head testimonies/comparisons I have been a happy Deus user for 2 years and can’t wait to get my hands on the Deus 2 once they are shipped hopefully later in the year/early next year. Keep on digging and Merry Christmas 🎄and a happy new year 2022 to you and the entire XP digging family of diggers.

Great video Calabash as always. Those were some nice finds y'all saved before they were lost. You guys that live and hunt in South Carolina and Virginia and Tennessee are blessed beyond measure. My hunting bud and I went out this past Saturday with little results. We still had fun but it is so much more enjoyable when you have something to show for your efforts. A lot of the area we hunt is deeply wooded with heavy ground cover and brush. Some areas are so deep with brush you can't get into to hunt. Still, we do our best and hunt those areas we can reach. Maybe one day we'll hit that missed piece of ground, and have some saves worthy of posting.
