How many models have you personally used with what coils, over what type of soils/strata, looking for what kind of targets, and for how long?
I noticed you jumped right in to answer saamdiggers question on the T2 forum about the T2's use on saltwater beaches, NOT. Do you even realize that the X-Terra X70 has a Saltwater Ground Balance mode, and that it can Track GB for use on black sand beaches?
I personally test detectors under 100KV lines where they tie into sub-stations. The X-Terras are the quietest by far under those high tension lines. I am willing to bet a T2 would melt into a puddle in this location. I also have an area I hunt with buried utilities that are leaking like a sieve, and the quietest detectors are??? The X-Terras, I can run them at full sensitivity, whereas every other machine I have tried there has to have sensitivity turned down.
And how many frequencies can the T2 operate on,uuuuummmmm, oh let met guess, how about one. That means the frequency cannot be tailored to the desired target conductivities nor optimised for the soil. Let's see, two years after introduction there are how many coils for the T2, uuuuummm, oh yeah one. And that one is really nifty for working in the woods in between trees, rocks, roots, saplings, bushes, etc. The number of X-Terra coils, well let's just say you're going to have to use the fingers on both your hands to count them all.
The reality is in an apples to apples comparison the X70 is a far more versatile detector than a T2. How many people are prospecting with a T2? How many people are wet saltwater beach hunting with a T2? How about trashy park hunting? Truth be told the features that are being added to the F75 are to make it more like an X70, and less like a T2.
