F75 Programs

When it drifts off a little just repull the trigger to get it back. It is really good when it is not so trashy. You really are going to dig deep with that mode. Been meaning to try the Dis. mode with the mono-tone,(1tone) just have not got around to it. I got some trashy junky Iron spots I want to try it in. I don't know why they say that is better then all metal. Maybe someone will pop in here and expound on it. Remember to drop the threshold a few numbers if it gets noisy and switch your freq. around also in All Metal to quiet it down some. I think you got more time now on the F75. Been having to run back and forth to doctors and it has cut into my hunting time. Will be back up and going again soon. Keep up the good hunting Jim. You know how to work that F75 now as good as I do. Maybe you can teach me a few things. I am up for that. :D: :D: Back to Lurking, hunting, and reading  HH Jim, Jerry aka Tinfoil

Hey Jerry, hope the Dr. thing isn't serious. That is not the kind of thing one wants cutting into their tecting time. I do use de, high sen. and monotone a good bit on trashy sites, but actually feel I find a little more with 0 disc. and 3 or 4 tones. It is probably just me. I do like all metal, though, and you are truly right, ittt isss deeeep. Take care and get back out there swinging. HH jim tn

Found half dime with 4inch nail over 8 inches deep, VDI locked on a solid 10. I wouldn't tell people to NEVER dig signals that read under 20 on the VDI meter, you will miss some very nice targets.

Point taken, however it can also depend on what coins your looking to find. I personally only look for Silver ones and silver coins won`t be registering under 20.

I`ve never yet had it proven to me that working with a discrim of 15 to 20 can match depths or signal clarity as in all metal mode.
I still work to "old school" basics and find that my results are never the less satisfactory.
If you don`t try detecting in all metal with the F75 and only hunt using a lot of Discrimination . Yes, you WILL pull the Cherry picking fodder up, but how do you know that if you did lower your discrimination to between 1 to 6 or even All metal ,you won`t start to achieve deeper targets? And actually i`m not prepared to hunt with high discrimination to take the chance of missing coins or artifacts.
How do you know that by using a discrim of 15 to 20 you havn`t missed some thin Gold rings at depth , or a Gold necklace ?Again its not a chance i personally am prepared to take.

I will say it again, the F75 is the only detector i know that will hunt in All metal , BUT when it hits a Target it will instead of reading the target as a "hit" and thats all you get told , you`ve hit a metal object, the F75 actually Tells you the Discriminated Value of that Target by digital numbers of what band of numbers the target is, hence if its ferrous its low or if its non ferrous its medium to high numbers. So ,in all metal mode with the F75 ,you hunt in Max depth ability all the time and have the added bonus of knowing whether the target is to be dug or not on detection, where old school detectors wouldn`t tell you that. It was a metal target hit and you had to dig everything in all metal.

The F75s "little brother" the F5 will also give you discrimination values in all metal.
