F75 Mono Tone

Wow this is what it is all about you can have the new color screen detector, with the F75 you just get a good mono tone and dig it...in and out and ready for the next target. I found all the chinese coins in one hole. In the gold country of Calif, what a few hours can do for your ego!

I also have a few places where the mono tone should come in handy.

:detecting:

ON THE F75 THE MONO TONE ONE TONE JUST IS A KILER WAY TO HUNT...IT DOES A GREAT JOB AT UNMASKING TARGETS...IT IS THE SECOND DAY I USED THIS WAY OF HUNTING AND THE RESULTS ARE MIND BLOWING...WHO NEEDS THE VISION.

Which tone do I use so I don't have to dig all these dang pulltabs? I want to dig only the gold diamond rings. Mono or multi?

How deep are you getting in the mono mode? Surely you have done some comparison tests? Air tests? Anything tests?

I would get the other coil for parks and use 4 tone

Real world test are done in the dirt not in the air. seven to eight inches

But according to my graph, the pull-tabs and gold diamond rings shows the exact same wave pattern. I hate pulltabs.

But that is what they keep saying on the other forum. Are your tests only 2-4 incches also?

I don't do tests I hunt, different places will have different depths, different ground has an effect on how deep you can dig..not all coins or relics are deep. But one place we hunted in with soft ground we were getting up to eight inches.

Gold is always a guess..but I have over 100 gold and diamond rings to say when you are lucky and fresh dig the nickel range.

I don't know how the F75 would work in your area red clay is something I have never had to deal with...I think that Bill Lad had to use one of his CZ to deal with that kind of ground..mono tone and a dics of 6 in most ground is a killer way to hunt. It looks on good targets even in iron...now it will get tricked by iron but if you turn 90 degrees the target will break up. It hits hard and deep that way and it is a pain to have only one tone becasue you have to look at the meter alot..If I were hunting parks I would try 4 tone

on both the T2 & F75. When hunting iron with 1 tone & disc at 4-6, that breaks up the nails, & "good" items give off a great audio with high sensitivity. It works well even with the stock coil. In the "Stagecoach" video below I'm running monotone with the T2 the whole time. It's pretty cool. Everyone should give it a try......

Bill
PS. Nice cash coins by the way!

It was you and Nasa Tom that inspired me..thanks and good video.

Thanks. I was going to ask about using mono in trashy areas such as parks.

I would try the new 10 inch concentric coil it hits better for turf hunting and I would use 4 tone not 4H and a disc of 0 or I would get the snipper coil for trash and the new 5" DD I think you could still use mono tone with the concentric and just cherry pick to get some dimes and higher, silver rings and stuff like that...then look at nickel range for gold rings but that is the luck of the Irish to find gold but it can be done. Also the concentric is better on crown tops you get a more true reading so you won't dig a many...they can be a real pain with the DD 11"...
