F75- LCD glow @ night...

Bill say you notched out a number and you have a coin with a high reading number mixed in with a notched number will the F75s good target be masked by the notched out numbers? It does that on my Fisher 70 but not on the T2. You can't notch on the t2 but you can disc out say iron too foil and if they are mixed in with a good target I will bet a reading on the good target. It may be avaraged so a lower reading.

The slashes confuse me. You said, that there are 4 slashes between nickel and tab. Did you mean nickel and tab together? Because, I only count 2 slashes in the tab range alone, between the 36-45 and the other at 46-55. Where would a target ID of 36 fall. In the lower part of the tab range?

The blocks are 10 point wide, and you have a notch adjustment of 5 points each. So 2 slashs would be 10 points, or in the case of reading the display, 10 numbers.

The number 36 would fall in between the #35 to #40 range.

Confused ? so am I. :) It's really easy to do. Guys that have been using a Whites XLT. will find this a breeze.
