Found all of these with my F75. Site had large power lines and carpets of nails but the F75 handled both admirably.

Thanks. Bounced between upper 60s and lower 70s. A little on edge. The Spanish silver is an excellent fin. Did it ring up in the 70's ?
Mine has the DST and Boost Mode. It goes deep and hits the silver. HHHi F75 users I just got a good deal off the big board , Like new F75 ,with pinpointer , I bid $189.00 and got it. Forget about 16.00 shipping and tax, but still got it for 218.00 . I think it was a good deal. It has the DST and boost mode. one coil but that is ok.
I needed the dumb down version. The F 75 was my main swing for 15 or more years and like Ronstar, I need to dust mine off and give it a run. I had one of the first run F 75 camo versions and that one in my opinion was the best F 75. Sparky, but deeper then the later "dumbed down" versions. And deeper by a fair amount. Those F 75's do love silver, really, really love it. HH jim tn
Ha, I perhaps used some bad terminology. It really wasn't dumbed down from a user standpoint, they tried to make it less susceptible to emi which made it somewhat sparky and chattery. I and some others didn't have a problem with it being sparky, but others did. By adding dst it (maybe) was less affected by emi, but it took a pretty good hit in depth performance and seemingly was a little less sensitive. I know a good percentage of hunters wanted to wrap the F 75 around a tree and gave up on it. That's too bad, as once one learned its language it really was a terrific detector. HH jim tnI needed the dumb down version.
I think everyone's tolerance level for sparky/chattery is different. As for the DST versions, I had two after the Camo one and either could hit a certain depth deep dime in my test garden that my Camo one could with pretty good audio. Glad your experiences with the DST F 75 are positive. Mine are as well, just different on the depth aspect. HH jim tnI think that's why I didn't wrap mine around a tree
Should be couldn't hit. I still have a F 75 LTD DST model and will probably have one in my arsenal until my hunting days are over. I no longer have an Omega, but had three. Not a depth demon, but truly was a medium depth silver slayer. Take care! HH jim tneither could hit
You are right, it can be turned on and off. I hunted with it off all the time as when off it was a inch or so deeper then when on. Not sure how effective DST was over all, though. HH jim tnI may of read that wrong, but i think you can turn it off.
