F75 air test with lastest upgrades.

Both my coils were sent in when I got upgrades, and in Sep I sent my unit in for a check-up and they changed the coil connector. If mine is a coil they missed it when checking. My detector was left in the box until I sent in for upgrades.

This is what one fella found out on another forum - Coil problem. I think his was a new unit too
"Daniel said that the new software updates were for stability, not raw sensitivity. He said the whole purpose was to be able to run the sensitivity at 99 with little to zero noise. And to expect an average of about 2 to 2.5 inches loss of depth from the previous versions of the F75 on coin size objects. He said that most people at best, could only run the previous models at around 80-85 sensitivity and retain stability. I told him about swapping coils yesterday with my friend, and how his detector lost some detection distance in air test with my coil...while mine gained some when going to his coil. He thinks the root cause of my particular problem may be a coil that needs calibrated closer to zero."
He is returning the unit to be checked out.

I rechecked am depth with 99 sens, after 6'' I don't get a solid tone but faint to about 7.5''. I hope it's not a coil issue because it means they missed it twice.

That's REALLY REALLY REALLY broke. That not even half of the weak units much less normal ones.
