A small coil would certainly help here. The smallest I know of is the 4 inch concentric made by fisher and quite affordable. Small DD coils are also exceptional for this but not as affordable. Good LuckI think it would do alright on larger nuggets.
That's a wonderful deal! If I didn't have one already... I have an F2 4 inch coil also. It works kind of on my Omegas but only get about half an inch on a dime. LOLI do have a brand new 4" Concentric coil I'll sell you for $20 plus shipping. Just e-mail me.

Thanks for the offer but I'm going to have to pass on it.mdc002, when coils get too large they lose performance on smaller-size targets. Large coils were mainly designed for larger-size objects.
On the F44 I had good performance with the 5" DD coil but mainly used the 7" Concentric I kept mounted full time.
