Hi Jerry

That's the best way, I agree. I have hunted with a T-2 for a long time, but like all detectors, they have their nitch.

I not so certain I would want to hold my breath waiting for a smaller coil. When I spoke about it in the early spring, they said about a year. That puts it into spring of 2007. I hope it's sooner. :)

1236 IS BETTER THAN A TECHNETIC T-2? GIMME A BREAK----REAL DUMB POST :argue:

Hondo, the 1236 in a seeded hunt would destroy and embarrase the T2 it just works. The 1236 is one of the best detectors made for trash period. Its hipmountedable has a lot of different coil options and the audio gives a lot of information.I would put my money on a experience hunter any day with a 1236.Why do you think this plain jane detector has been around so long. Then again I'm talking about real world field use and operservations, not hype,or air test. I'm being serious Take your T2 to a comp hunt and learn the hard way you'll be the silly one. Ron

Is that satelite rabbit ears I see at the back, or just the arm cuff?
Just teasin. Been a way a while and this is the first I've seen it.
hmmm Interesting looking. But then I thought that about the Jackalope too.
I hope Batman doesn't show up and take it away from me, saying it's his.
Is it just me? Or does it look like the Energizer Bunny (Arm cuff and battery compartment) from the back?
If it truly is the latest greatest thing to come along, then I'm all for it. If not, then Bounty Hunter (First Texas) Earns another D grade. I know! I know! It's a Fisher. Why it's still called Fisher, beats the heck out of me. It's no more a Fisher any more than a Minelab is a Fisher.
Anyway, I will be anxiously awaiting to hear how it performs in the field. If their good reports, then I got dibbs on 1st in line.
In the mean time I'll be merrily putting along with my (FISHER) CZ 3D.
A truly great detector. HH
