F-75 Photos

We have them on order.

Necessary to edit this post because of incorrect information I had. Sorry about that. :)

They did make changes over the T-2.

Your Fisher source dealer.

I hope they made the handle area stronger as the T2 was in need of that. As far as the construction aspect it looks the same except a different color.

I guess it's my turn to be in front of the firing squad. It looks too much like a T2 and its going to be a hard sell to Fisher users. As an example take a Ace 250 put Fisher labels on the unit same control box and coil its still an Ace.I hope Fisher success, but don't misrepresent a product to the consumer. It is what it is a reworked T2.The burden of proof is with First Texas the photo says T2.With that said I have my flak jacket on,fire away.

Anyone that has used the T-2 will know with the improvements the new F-75 will have it will be a real winner. I just hope they will be making a smaller coil for it.
Just going to have to try one of these when released, was going to get another T-2.

I'm a Fisher user and I can't wait to get one!

That's like saying, "take a Ferrari and put a Ford label on it and it's still just a Ferrari." The point is: what's wrong with being an improved T2? The T2 is an outstanding detector!

I see no misrepresentation.

Right! That's GOOD!

I think you're just disapponted because it doesn't have a radically different appearance from the T2. You want it to be different inside and out. Not everyone is concerned about how a detector looks but rather how it works. I think the T2 looks great anyway so I have no problem with that and the fact it promises to have better performance seems great to me!

Edd,there is nothing wrong with a T2,but its not the perfect detector. With the 11 inch coil it just won't separate well enough in the city parks that I work in Michigan.I had a T2 and sold it,and kept my Fisher's.I've worked in the auto industry since 1972 and the T2 is no Ferrari, more like a Sunbird.I would with confidence put a CZ or 1236 against the T2 in the field anytime, performance is what counts not hype. There is nothing worst than a salted field test. The Flak Jacket is still on. Ron

If it won't hunt the wet salt sand like my other Fishers I guess I will have to pass on this one or it don't have a small trash hunting coil. Does it have a salt mode. Did they make any provisions for the wet salt sand beach hunters. Thanks bud. :D: :D: Jerry aka Tinfoil

Bill,I had one of the Keith Wills Mark 1's,with the old Bounty Hunter 7 inch coils. It separated very well but didn't have very good depth in the ground I hunted 5 inches max for a penny. The ID was first rate, which could tell a clad dime from a silver one.Mine was a hip mount and it was still very heavy and clumsy, and it used 14 penlight batteries. Those questions I can't answer because I don't know. :)

Having a salt mode is not the only thing that can make it hunt in the salt. I know of a few detectors that hunt in the salt very well without a "salt mode" switch, and there not Minelabs. :surprised:
Neverless it's a good question, because I wasn't really impressed with the T-2's operation in the salt.

They have given the user a few options on how the processor can be controlled, and they have also set it up for 2 different all metal modes.

They have made a lot of improvements to the F-75 over the T-2 so I have been told. I have yet to use a real one.

till they find out if it will hunt the wet salt sand and if they make any small coils for it for hunting the iron and the trash. Will also wait to see what you have to say about it. You did a Excellent job on the Exterra's for the guys and I for one really appreciated your honest effort. I love my X 70. All it needs is that small coil. Thanks for your reply. :D: :D: Jerry aka Tinfoil
