Well its been a year now that Ive had my Explorer. What can I say, have i enjoyed it, have i worked it all out, well to say the least I LOVE IT. Whilest I had my fare share of problems starting out with a dud unit the help here has been great, I love how its attracted to nails and bottlecaps but programming it is great and easy. I got all the coins i wanted to search for and programmed them in. Whilest my luck isnt as good as some of the others here its been pretty good, my best find a 140yr old penny. I continue to plod about looking for the illusive coin that i have always wanted to get my hands on, and that an old chinese coin, why , dont know i just want one because the area i detect in is stooped in history going back nearly 200yrs. They are there and ill find one. To those wanting to buy an XS .....buy one and love it, true we sometimes feel like wrapping it around a tree but thats the fun of learning something all the frustration that goes with it. Anyway thats it, i shall try to go out this weekend, summers nearly here with long days and nearly 3 weeks holiday to plod about the bush at Lefroy and hope not to drop down an old abandon mineshaft
