Excellent D2 performance!!

Took the D2 WS6 master to an old sports field, that I have hunted off and on for 15 years. I thought I pretty much cleared it out with my deep seeking Fisher CZ5 and Cz70 . The Ws6 master is so much faster with its DD coil . Especially with co-located targets. I dug 10-12 wheats 1 silver Rosie. And 6 nickels!!! Now CZs are known to be excellent nickel finders !! I believe the CZs Concentric coils are the reason for these targets I found . The conical shape detection field allows for masking with the CZs missing ( masking) targets !! The XP DD coils blade detection pattern just flat out performs the concentric coils !! All the targets I dug were 7-10 inches deep with old rusty iron bits very close. Just some interesting information for all to take notice about. HH Tony

Tony, great post. I also believe that the CZ's were as deep as any detector made, even with an 8 inch concentric coil. You made a great point that when coins are 8 inches deep or more, the 8 inch coil is only seeing a inch or so at that depth, making it easy to miss many coins even if overlapping your swings. I sounds like the Deus 11 is a great nickel detector. I have a Legend and it is the best nickel finder of any detector I have used.
