Excalibur is deeper with pin point and I proved it today

As Crazyman says, there are way too many variables. I agree that pinpoint will detect deeper but if you are on a trashy beach you are going to wear out your rubber seals on the switch shaft, switching back and forth.

Maybe, maybe not...you just never know...did a side by side compare on 3 excals...same target, same settings on all, wet sand ...8 inch hit target in AM...10 inch in discriminate would not {older excal/yellow phones}, New excal II hit in discriminate but just a change in threshold not a good signal. On a different beach or 30 feet away, these results could be totally different....Joe

Been hunting AM/PP for 3 years now has not wore the seals out yet....maybe because I want it to wear out...give me a reason to change somethings minelab should have done years ago..a PP button.....Joe
