Excalibur II Leak proofing & mods

Please refrain from disseminating bullshit Info.
" Second the body of the excal and the battery are pressurized so if U open it up U lose the ability to dive with it."

stoneshirt.

Every thing that I read says that the body of the XCAL is NOT PRESSUREIZED. I would like to see the source of your information.

Being a newer machine, unless you plan to dive with it you’ll probably be fine.

The main two encap o rings on my older sword model Excaliburs is easy to pull out the end caps, clean or replace, then silicone grease the o rings and put the end caps back.

The knob o rings are a different animal, I’ve never messed with them and don’t intend to but guys like Mel and OBN have, and some YouTube videos on how to do it.

I know none of us like to spend money but a few dollars worth of prevention are worth big bucks in repairs or damage to the board that’s not worth fixing.

JMHO,

Jerry
