Excalibur coil change

You know, I honestly couldn't Pinpoint which coil is better for chains....

Every machine Has a different tone for them "In -a-way" and when you add different coils to the different Models of Excal's.. that Further changes the tones...

It depends on whether their is a "Charm" on the end of the Chain...

or,
How it's Laying on the sea floor....

With my Excal II... the tones are Kinda... Broken -up some what... on a Chain without a charm.... Like... something you normally wouldn't dig "Normally"

Here's a Picture of a 28" Chain my Buddy just found a Few weeks ago...

And " Yes It's 100% Real" This doesn't include the Large 30G charm that was attached to it..

To change or replace the knobs, you don't need to pry them off as shown. The yellow cap on the top pops off using your finger nail to pop open. Once the yellow cap is off, here is a screw that you turn to loosen and remove the minelab factory knobs. Don't PRY Off!

Agree 100%

And if you use non ML knobs with a brass or ally sleeve and then a grub screw AND then use in salt water = your asking for big trouble and a busted Excal body.
