no beach finds here, im in ohio this weekend,i took melody with me to hunt a few old school yards i know of here,i let melody use my ace 250 and she found the first quarter and first few cents as i found most of the junk..i think i have compititition in the family now..as it is now i asked melody to marry me and she said yes yes yes,so my beach hunting days will be as a tourist now as im moving back to columbus to be with melody, just thought id share pic with all,

Well congratulations John. I am sure she is a nice girl. Does she know you well enough to make that decision. I mean has the background check Cleared. I mean she must not know abouth the last arrest. I mean maybe she will never find out about last week.

Enjoy life my friend as each day is precious and when you have the experience you just had is more so. MY rule for life today is if it makes you happy do it. If it makes your grandchildren happy do it ten times. Everyone else get in line as it will wait.

I guess I'll have to find all that gold and jewelry on the Gulf Shores all by myself now. (I'm from Ohio too)

Maybe Melody will see living in Florida in the winter as a good idea?

Before you come back to Ohio, spend some time on the beaches and maybe you'll find her a nice wedding ring. Just don't tell her you found it!

thanks to all for all the wonderful posts,im sorry it took me awhile to get back but ive been getting settled in
im ready to start to do some local hunting up here now,some lakes?? any help would be greatly appreciated..
being back home feels great but is different..everything has changed allot,
melody and i are planning our wedding in august
my advise to all is listen to your heart and follow what it tells you,dont make the mistake i made and waited 30 years..
