Excal Chest Mount

Hey Marc, i've used excals for years, and everybodys opinion is different, but i've used the older models and hipmounted them and i had to replace about three coils, because of the wire swinging back and forth it seems to break the wire inside the caseing, now on the new machines i don't know if anybody has had that problem or not, see if you shaft mount it it stays in one place and not moving around and that moving is what broke them before, just my opinion you do what you want, Harold

Harold

Plugger's chest mount a restraint for the coil wire, but I see what you are saying, the length of the wire is still moving from swinging the coil and from waves hitting it. Something to think about.

I do believe you had problems with the wire. But people have also said that wrapping the wire on the shaft (coil wrap) caused problems for them. Special attention to the coil wire is something to take heed on.
