Every time out can be a great surprise..even with "No" great surprises Detecting is still fun. WHAT would you most like to find??

Elton, You've done it again! 'nother interesting post. No.1 would have to be a gold coin, or a holey dollar (an early colonial coin here in Aus., made by punching a hole in the centre of a Spanish dollar - the small piece from the centre of the dollar was also proclaimed to be a coin and was duly stamped and given the value of fifteen pence)- the holey dollar is extremely rare (it is written that there only about 300 left) and in good condition worth a lot of money, so I wouldn't mind finding one of those. If both of those are out of the question, then Shambler's hot blonde's equally hot older sister would do.

Raining here two, Even if it stopped, the real estate I'm working now has trees with massive canopys that keep shedding water for e-z 2 hours after it clears. With the overcast it's as dark as night ,wn: tried that.. not so fun.

$ 20.00 Gold Coin... just one please please please..........

Even after all these years, my positive attitude still has hopes of finding that 1 gal Mason jar stuffed to the gills $50.00 octagon Gold Slugs. I'm not hoping too much, am I. Just one really BIG find is all I ask. So far it's just been "1 a penny, 2 a penny" but who knows what lies around the next corner. Or, hey not being the greedy type, I'd settle for a Gold Nugget about the size of a FOOTBALL and a dozen cute honeys to help me carry it home!:thumbup::thumbup:

I bought my first metal detector (a Fisher F2) last week and my goal then was to find a coin on my property that was from before 1960.

Yesterday I found a coin from 1896 so everything I find from here on is just a bonus.
