Ah yes, one of life's great mysteries. Will XP listen to the masses and come out with a small coil. Apparently this is highly sensitive information and we may not know the answer in our lifetimes......if ever.

That is why I started with the 9 inch coil on the xp2. I do well with the smaller coils Yeah

Yes it would, but I believe XP is trying to get rid of the inventory they have now..,!! If they release even a 9" hf. People would more likely to buy it rather than the stock 9".

I thought XP was supposed to come out with a small coil for the D2 by the end of this Summer.

Heard that also, like I say, if they do,, then their thinking they may have too many of the stock 9".. in inventory.. people really want a new coil to come aboard.. I think that's the one reason.!

You bet!!!-----Getting sick & tired of waiting for that long awaited/promised smaller (5X10?) coil for the D2.

I expect they can’t make up their mind on the location of the battery ,it has to be waterproof now ,so it’s back into the coil .
Meanwhile their competitors are surging ahead with new products on all fronts

I reckon it’ a lot harder to reconfigure than it appears. Just looking over the elliptical for the D1 space for a battery shouldn’t be an issue, but we really don’t know that. Hope they get it resolved soon and the technology they started has more too come.

I doubt a 6 inch round coil would ever be made for D2 . That i would bet my last dollar.
