I've left the digger and the head phones home a couple of times.The way gas is just can't afford to make that mistake to often . I slow things down and go over my inventory piece by piece then i leave the house.In our excitement we can leave everything if were not careful.

A friend of mine left his detector behind where he was hunting the other day, got down the road about a k and then realised he didn't have it with him. He immediately turned around to go back and to get it, thankfully it was still there when he arrived.:yikes:
 
Maybe you should buy a cheap spare to keep behind the truck seat or in the trunk just in case this starts happening to you a lot . Sort of like a spare tire .

Now that's funny right there... Spoken by one who has left for duck hunting sans shotgun, deer hunting minus ammunition, detecting minus battery pack, paintball without CO2..etc., etc.! I know for ME I'm just A.D.D. and get distracted!
