Etrac and Easter comes early

I had to mail a package on my lunch break and stopped at a playground. Got a loud surface squeal from the Etrac and looked down to what I thought at first was a crushed can. Turned out to be an Easter egg someone had stepped on with almost $3 dollars inside. Not bad for 15 minutes of hunting.

Very cool. Glad you found a bit of spring!
Our club here in NJ has a Bunny Hunt and they do that but they use Wheat cents for the kids and adults. Other prizes are tokens inside.
Funny - one year they used candy along with coins - but the critters ate some as we were detecting.

Love finding easter eggs that the kiddies missed! lol Its too bad they didnt do this back in the day when coins were silver.
