EMI and the xp deus 2

Switch to a single frequency then adjust the sensitivity up/down until it stabilizes, then do a noise cancel. I have a couple of sites with fairly bad emi and either single frequency 13 or 17kHz with sensitivity between 90-95 works fine. Still might be a little chatter but a lot better than what you get in multi-frequency, and the good targets will still jump out.

First thing is to discover what is causing the emi, where is it coming from.. Use the coil like an antenna, pointing the bottom of the coil all around you and locate the strongest signal area. Then start switching frequencies (still pointing the coil at the strongest signal area) until you find the frequency that gives you the lowest signal.
