Went for a short hunt to a spot that I found this summer. It is just a few Black Locust trees by a gravel road some might say so what. I know these to be old homesite like detectorist back east looking for cellar holes. Post civil war site to be specific. I pulled several pieces out of the iron patch .36 cal drop round ball, a couple buck and ball shot, one piece soldered loop button and a general service Eagle coat button.
