Dx -1 invader

I`m sure it`s probably been answered before I tried to do a search but couldn`t find anything. Was wondering if anyone uses the dx-1 invader with their v3 and what they think of it. I just got the wireless headphones and I love them. They make me a little sweaty but that ok lol

I like the DX-1...it took some getting used to. I was spoiled with the Garrett Pro-Pointer, which I still use with my tesoros when coinshooting parks. That being said, I feel it was a good investment in the detecting "system", as it uses the same batteries that your detector does....and ya cant lose it! I really like it in the mixed mode....it is deadly accurate and stays pretty stable. Sometimes I have to reset it when I am pinpointing the target in the hole, but that's not a biggie and I have gotten used to it.

Would I do it again if I had to do it over?....most definitely.

The advantage of the DX1 is that it is just a small coil. It used the V3i electronics so unlike the Pro pointer, which is all metal, the DX1 uses the discrimination you have set on the V. You can see the results on the Spectragraph. Stops you from chasing deep iron. You adjust its depth range by adjusting your all metal mode. And most of all you can't lose it. I just bought another Pro Pointer, I lost the last one.

Yep, I use it and totally lost without it.
