6.5 Isn`t it too thick? Even 3mm to me sounds too unmoveable for chest deep wading. 1.5 - kinda better.

A 3/2 wetsuit ie 3mm body and 2 mm arms and joints is a light suit Considered a summer suit in the colder areas of australia. In winter its a 4/3 or even 5/4 for long stints in the water. I used to surf a lot and used a good 3/2 in colder summer days and a 4/3 in cold winter, water temp around 13 degree's Celcius. A good 3mm suit is very flexible.
