Dry suit? Wet suit? Semi dry suit? Semi wet suit?

Dear people!
Does anyone knows and can explain difference between DS, WS, SDS and SWS ??!!
Please!

Thank you, HH !!

Wetsuit is like surfers wear, you get wet and your body heats up the water in the suit keeping you warm..
Dry suit you stay dry, The ones I've used, you wear over your clothes.
Not sure On Semi wet and semi dry.

i am a certified dive master.......... go to SCUBA.COM and look at all the different suits that they have

I have a dry suit and a 5mm wet suit as well as a shorty 2mm. Everyone is different when it comes to water effects, some tolerate cold water or temperature changes better than others. Dry suit is as it implies dry. In the world of wet suits there are a number of things manufactures can do when making the suit and fit is the most important. Some add panels to minimize how fast the water gets to the body areas well enough if the fit is right that you feel dry hence semi dry. In the case of a shorty 2mm about all it does is block air temp and slow down the flush effect which can be more comfortable depending on the person and in warmer weather is more comfortable. A full on wet suit depending on the water temp your hunting in may be to hot ie 3mm,5mm,7mm . In order to decide what is best for you talk to area dive shops who can offer the best advice geared to you and your needs. Dan

I want a dry suit not for DIVING but for WADING only in fall-winter time. Which one (or type) you can recommend for a man like myself?

I use a Whites SAR suit its a dry suit but not made for primary diving as such built to handle going under water or for wet conditions as well its made for land & water. Dan

Cool!

I see no prices.
Which one is the cheapest to my wading man`s needs? I do not need to dive. I am afraid of fishes.

You need to call them or a dealer I have no idea about price, any of those will do the job for you. I got mine off the big E. Dan

Do we need 5/4/3 or 3/2 ??!!

Well I'm trying to figure which will be best too..

I'm looking at the 3/2 Just 'cause I'm here in Florida.. and they say that these suits are soo good that a 3/2 would
be like a 4/3 in any other suit...No rash guard needed.. These suits has a plush interior..

These are the Big Rave Top Suits... I've been searching everywhere and reading through many forums..
