hit the lane on saturday for a spin.

lowtide tim is coming behind me soon i heard.

i start out heading south, then i see something that ruined my day, Cmdr. Jim in the dry zone. now let me tell u that is a very very bad sign.

off i go in the damp wet shallow water zone.............................several blocks without a target i see sharkhunter bob off in the distance..........we chat and he has the mumbles as well, but i heard later, he did pick up one nice gold band on his quest north..............that is all i know of that was found sat and for surfchurch.

i decided to give the dry zone a spin yesterday with my little tesoro compadre.....................man oh man what a dry sand hound this baby is........might be the best detector i have used for bottle caps......(meaning it discriminated the best of all my detectors)......................what a treat that was.......................i owned a silver umax once and it was pretty good, but not in the same league as the compadre.........as u know......super light.
