Double or triple score

So on the fence on which one to go with. We are in St Augustine and very close to the beach and St. John’s river along with many parks. The price difference between the 2 is about $100. Is it really worth the extra cost for the triple score or will the double be good enough.

I wonder also as I bought the double score and shortly after the triple came out.
I have not used the double score yet - so far I have only tested in the backyard that it does work.
Same thing happened when I bought the X-Terra Pro - shortly after the Elite came out - have only tested that it does work.
At least when I bought both they were on sale, but wonder about the triple & elite.
I really should get them out for a hunt then go from there - also bought smaller coils for both in case I get into some trashy areas.

Same but more options.

Not necessarily. The whole point of the score was a simple less expensive Legend. So if you’re not going to use the features why pay for them and question if you need to adjust them. We’ve also heard many times- “How do I set this up, what’s that do, I’m not sure if I got it set up right” That’s one reason the Vanquish is so good. It’s kind of a simple Nox. I think the Score started out to compete with it and be waterproof, one of the few complaints of the V.

Quote from a different thread/forum. Hopefully this isn’t against rules but someone else explaining better than me.
“It's funny because I really hadn't done much with my 340 . Sat in corner a few years. Decided one day I was gonna take it out . took it on a all day urban detecting trip usual hunting of yards 1800s 1900s. I did just as good as I do with the equinox. Silvers Indian a ring a token. It's kinda funny to be doing that good for 199.00 vs 800 dollars. Same vid same good tones same nailing it. It’s kinda like having a great stereo and a great stereo with too many knobs . both play the same song. We've all been out say on several yards then halfway through the day realize you left a setting on on from a previous day and say you missed Indians or nickels all that day.
Fun stuff” (2108Silver1)
BTW, also seen op has made his decision on that forum.
