Don't leave the screen in the sun!

I have a v3i and I was relic hunting on a sunny day. I sat down to take a break and eat a sandwich and in about 20 minutes I picked up my machine to start hunting again and it looked like there was a black hole burned in the screen.

Now the screen works again where I can read the display but I have permanent black lines running vertically up my screen.




So to all you guys never leave the display in sunlight, turn it away from the sun.

I have special cover with sun shade... but interesting.

Weird I've never had any issue with mine . I use no special cover or anything
