Does the Simplex (or any detector really) have a setting that keeps track of usage hours?

I'd love to keep a running tally of hours I've used the Simplex (but keep it secret from my wife ).

Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this feature on any detector, and if it's possible, maybe it can be added to a future upgrade?

Never heard of one that did that swinger.-----Sounds like a great idea to me though.-----Would put an end to some of these "tall tales" thrown around about having detected 327 years (or what ever).-----It would show how much of that time was actually spent swinging a detector.

That’s funny I was just thinking about the same thing. Would be handy when purchasing a used detector.
