For tesoros ID Detectors delon and Cortes.....for those who have them would you say the VDI numbers are strong and stable or jumpy ? Just curious.....Thanks

I have the Deleon, and unless you're near some EMI, it's pretty steady, even with a Dd coil. The DD is very sensitive to EMI. Usually, if you see a 95, it's correct.

I have an idea that a Japanese company would be well recieved on Tesoro's part to have a better detector and upgrade to the likes of all the other manufactures. I believe the new detectors will be good and a little deeper as the japanese are great at what they do in electronics. If this is what it takes to keep Tesoro alive and well ! shortribs

Out of all the detectors to dump I have no idea why they would dump the golden. It is one of the best they made.

With ID and Double D! I would sell my other machine to buy one ASAP!

Only thing I have read thru the face book grape vine (so you know it must be true) LOL is I heard there was an offer from a big name detector company thats wants to buy out Tesoro and allow them to still keep the tesoro name but basically own the company kinda deal. I hope they do somthing soon because it would sure be nice to have a dual frequency water proof tesoro.

AllCav claimed it was their slowest seller. I have the new tone Golden and it is a keeper along with my F75.

What was said in this EBay description first ? And where did anyone come up with another company wanting to buy Tesoro... Sounds like a big WHAT IF ?

no its not here we go again , come on its time for the Tesoro company to step up to the plate and either admit they are going nowhere or that they are revamping to bring their product up to date to compete . There are a lot of Us Tesoro users that would like to hear that they care and also the Mods of this site to understand and not be so quick to judge and delete or shut down a topic. Jeez it don't take a rocket scientist to figure out that they need to update their website and also update their product line . now with that being said if I get banned so be it I love Tesoro brand detectors and don't want to see the company die or fade away but lets get real and up to date . I also enjoy this site as well and get a lot of info and met a lot of nice folks but if the Governor sees fit that I need to be banned I understand

I have a couple Tesoro machines that work very well for me. As long as Tesoro is happy with their products and sales I really don't understand why they need to change anything.

I have an old working Golden Saber that has a busted headphone jack. Is Tesoro's customer service still good enough to send it in and get it repaired? It was my brothers, so I am not the original owner, and it's not under warranty.

As far as I know, it will cost you shipping + $50.00 if you are not original owner.
Just call them, 1-928-771-2646

The Cortes has a nice I'd display (other than being on the small side of course).
Stable and accurate.

They will fix it. They just fixed a Golden Sabre for me about a month ago. It will cost you shipping one way plus a base fee of $50. The fee covers minor repairs and tuning it up. Anything more will cost accordingly. I was very satisfied with there service. Golden now works great. Michael
