Does Nokta Makro not honor their warranty?

I bought a Legend last March brand new from a sponsor on here. I decided to sell it this spring. I sold it to a person in Canada. Well the speaker went out and now Nokta Makro is telling him since he bought the detector used the warranty is not valid. He will have to pay $100 per hour plus parts to fix it. The warranty conditions posted on their website never says the warranty is not transferable or is void if you buy one used. I hope they see this and can make good on this issue.

Huh???----Legend 3 year warranties are supposed to be transferable to subsequent buyers.

Bill, I too was under the impression that the warranty was transferrable. I would not have bought used if I had known. I looked at the warranty policy on Notka"s website and see no mention of being transferrable. At least with Fisher we knew the policy. Hopefully someone from Notka will speak up.

They may have changed their Warranty from a couple years ago, the warranty was transferable but you had to have a copy of the original invoice to see when it was purchase and who bought it.
I hope they didnt change it as I bought a new one a while back and may be selling it and have never used it yet.

Bill, if Notka wants to compete with Minelab, they better have a transferrable warranty.

I hope they didnt change it as I bought a new one a while back and may be selling it and have never used it yet.
