To find stuff on a well WORKED SITE BY A PRO LIKE ME, i dont think it does cos nobody answered my question and it got deleted, this is getting like the official whites forums (hiding all the true facts lol) i use xlt.

your huntted out site will be like a new one with the Explorer my old park i huntted for 4or 5 yrs with the xlt and i got the Explorer it's like a new site for me
 
So you better stick to your XLT and go back to the whites forum where they like you
 
ok jim dont be sarcastic to me!! lets not cause any escalation of feelings, after all i am ordering an explorer soon , And i promise you i am looking forward to it, after i have given the machine 1000 hours of use i will report my true findings to you all, then you have the choice to welcome me or not.
 
Compared to a lot of people on ebay lately, It looks like most of them barely could turn the machine on. Good luck in your try out. being a white's user though why not their new machine??
 
why arnt i buying the new whites machine -simplei have read alot about the explorer and ithink it has great potential, 1000 hours of dedicated use will prove to me one way or the other whether explorer is finding more good stuff and at what depths, target seperation will be a thing i will be taking note of, and will it find stuff on my very well worked sites.
 
If you really truly did put that many hours in on an Explorer you probably would like it.Even if you didn't like it and put that many hours in at least,IMO,that it would give you more of a right to judge it.There is nothing wrong with using any brand of detector.Whatever works for you.But it is not right to bash a detector that you haven't used long enough to get its full potential.
 
Since every detector in the right hands can do a good job. I have only owned two detectors, a 6000 di pro and an explorer, The white's litterly fell apart( coil quit and the signal balance knob quit) It cost me quite a penny and three months of spring hunting. I took my losses and ran. Never had an XLT, I feel that I need to learn what I have first.
 
the only other detector ive owned was a fisher 1280 x which started me off in this great hobby. when the explorer first came out i upgraded and have been useing nothing else. ive got tons of hours under my belt and have studied the minelab forums. ive got a mountain of printed stuff that ive collected from the good people here. what im saying is i cant even think of what another detector can do that the explorer cant do or find. and the neat thing about it is that im still learning things with it. stan
 
can anyone tell me what detector out there has more options and accessories then the explorer?
