Does anyone what processor the Double score is using??? Speed compare to the legend....

Does anyone know what processor the Double score is using?? Just asking.... because the Double score is newer than the Legend. Yeah the legend might have a few more bells and whistles but the Double score has a newer processor......

I was thinking maybe someone might asked that question already.... wondering also if there processors are in house or third party like Minelab and XP....from my understanding Minelab using Samsung processors.....not sure about XP but was told the use a big company processor......

I wouldn't trust a microprocessor designed by a metal detecting company, if they could build something better than Samsung/Intel/AMD then they would be in that business. That's a weird question anyways, do you expect the company to design and build the screen? What about the capacitors and voltage regulators and other circuitry components? And if they could, how could they ever compete on price building a couple thousand of each component with companies that sell them by the millions?

Nah, I trust this company to do what everyone else does and select the best parts given the cost/performance necessary and arrange in a configuration they needed to support the software they write.

If they did "design" any hardware it was likely configuring FPGAs or ASICs.

Well considering the Quest V80 uses a 480MHz speed Cortex-M7 STM32H750 series chip it's not a weird question.

Sounds like maybe you didn't understand which part of the question I objected to. I was pointing out no modern detector uses "in house" processors, which does make it a weird question. Unless STMicroelectronics or ARM are actually Nokta subsidiaries, in which case I stand corrected.
