"BUGS"......bugs that bite, bees that like the color of yellow on my Garretts and bugs that crawl on my coil while I am hunting. I nearly squished this lady bug recently on a hunt. Luckily I saw the cute little feller and allowed him to crawl off for safety.
Below is a hunt I did today. It snowed for the last couple of days....today it warmed up a bit, the snow melted and the conditions were ripe for a hunt.
Yes I got all ate up towards the end of last Nights hunt, And I don't have that many bugs in my neck of The woods, I only did 33 coins in 2 hours and that was with a 11 coin spill I dug, I spent a 1/2 hour at that hole.
Here we had torrential rain for two days 4 inches or 100 millimeters.
Lots of flooding. Was a good day today and hunted a beach found a silver toe ring and a rearing
plus $ 5 in clad.
Hope that is all for snow for you this spring/summer

Hay fellers send a little of that rain our way.....it's gettin' to hard to dig.....supposed to be around 100+ this weekend...
gotta love Texas! HH to ya
Actually we had a decent day today but I couldn't get out. Supposed to have rain and sun this week so I'm going to try to squeeze in some time between the rain and six medical tests I'm scheduled for from June 1st to June 8..
I hate those damned lady bugs. In spring and fall they get so bad you can hardly go outside. you can't keep them out of the house, and they do bite. supposedly they were released here to control some kind of aphids or pest of some kind , but now they are a bigger problem than what they were intended to control.
I saw something I had never seen before in my 56 years Monday. A tiny, baby praying mantis. He had probably devoured his brothers and sisters and was on my brothers front door. I see lots of the grown ups and have seen some of their egg cases, but this was the first baby mantis I had ever seen. My sister-in-law asked me what they eat and I said everything. If they got big enough, they would be eating us. I thought my 3 older brothers were mean to me growing up in the 50's, until I read that the praying mantis eats his brothers and sisters to survive and lessen the competition. Guess my brothers weren't so bad after all. lol
