Do I need to start an argument to get this forum rocking???

after reading your posted message a week or two ago, and saw how much horse power you had in equipment. If our paths ever cross, I do hope that you will give me your autograph! Do you mind if I tell my friends at the feed store that I know a famous person?
Some people lose sight of the fact that metal detecting is a "fun" hobby. It seems to me that when I put a smile on my face, poke fun at life, and turn on the old metal detector...I always have a great time regardless of whether or not I find much treasure. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">

Roy...
Please let Magnum and I know if you are ever through this way. We'll take ya' on a Alabama hunt. Stay in touch...
The Mayor

I was down in Dixie one time visiting the Mayor... He was working but told me his friend had some condo's on the beach that I should detect... Well I drove up and down the beach for miles but never saw anything I invisioned could be called a condo. Well later I mentioned to him I hadn't seen any condo's. All I saw was two 40 story hotels on that stretch... He just turns and says... Yea... that'a my buddies condo's... you didn't go there?
Hid buddy owned a couple buildings that must have been worth 20 million dollars or so... So he's probably famous... Just don't let that drawl or him talking about sitting on the old swing fool you...

Once I heard him say how much metal detecting stuff he had, and upon reviewing some of his posted messages, I figured it out! I kinda think that he is being modest, doesn't like to be in the spot light! I hear tell that Mark Twain and Will Rogers were the same way, even though they were famous, they sorta shunned the spot light...even old "Tater Top" at the feed store is of the same mode. "Tater Top" is one of the best ropers in South Texas, but you would never know it if someone had not told you...he reminds me of Mr. Mayor. Yep, no doubt in my mind that Mr. Mayor is a famous person, your posted message just confirms it! Please have a great day!
