discombobulated New to Thread We would really like Magic's help

Hello everybody, my name is Sarah and my husbands name is Brandon. We live in North Carolina Forsyth County area. We have always liked/loved medal detecting. Yesterday I found out about the spectra v3/v3i and wanted my husband to have it. I read on the spectra for hours and got the understanding that you really cant just pick it up and go. Though I had no idea how paradoxical this machine is and would be until now . We brought it home and we are both overwhelmed with the amount of settings numbers colors beeps and more I'm sure I hope someone understands. We (mostly my husband because its his passion) are in dire need of help. I have read through all of the threads on this particular forum, and it would be an immense honor to speak with user-name Magic. I am sorry I do not know your actual proper name my apologies. I am pleading with Magic and or another accomplished person who has mastered the spectra for as much information one could possibly give to my husband Brandon on the spectra v3. I do not want to impose and be an inconvenience. I felt (my husband) speaking to one that knows it best would be the best option. The Metal detector we bought is not the V3i it is the V3 I was told the difference is an update, but I am not sure. My Husband had a whites M6 before now. I think your at the right place to learn more about the Vision. Magic is awesome and has helped many with the V3 including me but their are many more that can help like Larry and Rob. Can you give them more to go on like past detectors used?
