Dirt lunch

Fun lunch hunt. The dandy has a little fancy around the edge. I dug this same button at a another nearby property, but the silver wash was still somewhat intact. The darker button with the backmark says Lewis & Tomes Extra Rich. Those two round lead pieces, I can't quite figure them out. Could the one have been shot? Or was it a button? The larger of the two, could it have been a button? Or a bale seal? At about the 11 o'clock position, it looks like maybe there's a small v and then below it, another larger v. The shoe buckle was taco'd when I dug it. I couldn't help myself and I somewhat straightened it out Fun!

Personally I prefer peanut butter sandwiches for lunch.

I love braunschweiger and peanut butter in the winter. Sometimes honey on the bread soaked in before I make the sandwich.

Me too. I saw them for years on finds here. Finally about 12 yrs ago, thereabouts, i found one here in Australia. Our ground isn't kind to anything other than gold and high silver content. In the Victoria Golfields where I live in the Golden Triangle, coppers get destroyed just laying there.
But I did find an Indian Head Cent which made my day and is on my display with other things.
Our ground and minerals gave it an absolute hiding, but after 30 yrs hunting iv not met another here who found one. A treasured find of mine for sure.
