Digital Search

Is it possible with the Explorer while searching in digital that the number or value will change without getting an audio sound ?? Example is the number might be a 18 or somenting and when scanning again the value changes to 28 but no audio sound, which should be a little higher pitch... I have had this happen and just wonder what number to put faith in... Frank...

if your over something you have disced out it will still give you the digital readout with no sound

OK thanks ,,, then it must have been a screw cap or something else that gives a 28...

the explorer gives the digital number based on conductivity, or where i=the target reads north/south on the smart screen, so something that reads left but in the same area towards the top and disced out would still give the same digital number.. could very well have been a coin near iron, that why I pretty much stick to iron mask disc only
