Digging It All. Unmasking Silver Coins Or Finding Gold Rings & Other Good Finds. How Well Has It Worked Out For You?

Any of you guys dig a silver coin that for some reason read lower than it should have? I've dug quite a few of those over the years, that didn't even have trash or iron in the hole that could have brought the conductivity number down. Just oddly read low for some reason.

Depth and/or mineralization will do that.....also badly worn(thin dime)....yup, it's happened to me before.

My take on an underwater perspective. I have two different places that are by docks that used to drive my machine totally batty. Beeps galore. Yesterday I spent an hour at one sitting in one spot about 8 foot deep fanning the sand. I was getting 2 - 6 coins showing at a time along with junk, nails, screws, rings, a gold chain and other targets. I didn't have to move. As long as I got one high beep I fanned my hand and pulled out a lot of targets. I will go back and hit that spot again and again. I hit the other one last year and could sit in one spot and get 20 - 40 coins and good targets without moving. Some of these targets were Barber coins and also new coins. So I am sure on land there are places like it BUT a lot harder to dig. Nice and cool in the water under a dock in 100 degree weather!!
