Total weight is 9.1 grams. I agree that it's too
handsome to scrap. Getting it resized since
nothing appeared in the lost and found.

My mistake...it's 14K white gold and not platinum.
I tested it when I returned home with a gold testing kit I have...
no markings inside the ring and a negative test led me to conclude
that it was platinum. The weight should have been a dead giveaway..
I apologize to one and all.

Its a good looking ring!...Maybe take it to a jeweler and have them check it with their electronic thingy, and the stones too? Just to be sure what you have there...I sometimes trust acid, but not all the time..it can go bad after a while...theres so many amalgamations out there now, P4, lustrium, titanium, tungsten...with more showing up everyday...Let us know for all of our benefit if you get a chance, a jeweler will tell you what you got and what its worth retail or melt...
