Deus II WS6 audio issue

I was getting no audio out of my WS6’s today in the field. Everything appeared to be paired correctly, just no sound coming out. So, when I got home, I removed the puck and slid it back on. However, now after booting up the remote, the audio from the headphones is scratchy, distorted, and not really recognizable as a signal—it’s just noise. If I use the headphones without using the remote, the signal sounds fine. Any ideas why might be going on?

Never mind. I unpaired and re-paired and now all is well.

Kapok, I have had it happen to me maybe three times. Very frustrating. What I did was shut down. Counted to five slow, shortened the shaft, held it closer to my headphones and turned it back on. That worked, I heard the crackle in headphones then I saw the coil connect then I pressed headphones. My opinion is Silent Emi that interfered with the parts connecting.
